Meet Emalee

Thought Partner. Problem Solver. Togetherness Expert. 

Emalee (she/her) has over a decade of experience working with mission-centric organizations to create positive organizational culture, build equity-based HR infrastructure, and strengthen systems and processes. Emalee started her career in operations and curriculum development for an education-focused nonprofit in Baltimore City, but quickly realized her knack for people and process could help facilitate positive change for employees. Her various roles at nonprofits and small-to-medium for-profit companies have focused on supporting teams through a key inflection point in organizational growth, one that calls for the development of people operations, talent management practices, organizational alignment, and internal communications. Her practice runs the gamut, from culture surveys to executive search, performance management, compensation, training, and employee relations, to name a few.

 

Emalee received her BA in Communications from Loyola University Maryland and has a Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and two cats. 

I have worked with Emalee on various People-related initiatives, all of which were transformational to our business.
